The Holiday Spirit

We have soooooooo many posts to catch up on - Halloween, Clara's 11 month "birthday", our trip to Portland, and more - but I couldn't resist posting these two photos. When we were in Sunriver over Thanksgiving, Dad and Sabrina wanted to get pics of both grandchildren with Santa. Brittany (Sabrina's oldest daughter) has a four-month-old son, Alakai, who performed beautifully for Santa. Clara, on the other hand...well, you'll see. Hope this gets us all a little more into the holiday spirit!

In the second one she almost looks happy--if you don't look too closely.

Unfortunately children to have issues with Santa at some point early on. She should do better next year. Love, Mom

The look on Santa's face in the second one is priceless, too...

These are great pictures for Clara to look back on. I hope she's not too traumatized. Love, Mom/Debbie Lou/Oma

There is an entire genre of "baby crying on Santa's lap" photos. You can share in the merriment here: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/sfgate/detail?blogid=29&entry_id=7030

Those photos are priceless.

We love Sunriver! This summer we are having a family renion there.

Next time you come to the NW we should try to hook up and let all our little girls play together.

The Offspring won't do Santa either. And why should a child? Why would you want to sit on a strange man's lap? No thanks.

We just send Santa e-mail.
