Mommy Says It's My Half Birthday
Hi. I'm Anna. And I'm six months old now. Today wasn't a very good day. I've been sick and today I had to go the doctor. I was very upset but my big sister Clara was very nice to me and kept telling me, "It's okay, it's okay," when the doctor made me cry. My ear hurts and the doctor gave me a shot in the leg. Mommy says it was something called antibiotics. I'm not sure what that is but she says it will make me feel better.
When I'm feeling good I like to do lots of things now. I can almost sit up by myself and I can scoot myself around the floor a little bit. I bet in another month I'll really be able to move around. I like to talk a lot, especially when I wake up in the middle of the night. Last night Daddy thought it was Clara talking, but it was really me. Mommy gives me rice cereal for dinner now, and sometimes I get carrots or sweet potatoes too. I really like carrots. But I don't like applesauce. I make faces every time Mommy tries to feed it to me. I like my toys a lot, but I like Clara's toys even more. Clara keeps telling me not to touch her stuff, but I think she's just kidding. I really like my sister. She makes me laugh a lot and she plays fun games with me. Sometimes Mommy tells her not to be so rough, but I think it's fine. I think Mommy worries too much.
This is what I look like right now. I do have a great smile, but I like to frown at the camera instead. It's kind of funny that Mommy keeps sticking that thing in my face.
Oh, and I have awesome hair. Everyone says so.
