And you thought your birthing was crazy...

Having previously given birth four times, Leah Verschleisser was unfazed when her contractions started on the morning of Dec. 6. But unlike her older siblings, the Verschleissers' fifth child was in a hurry.

Before the Verschleissers could get to their car, the baby started coming. A Montgomery County emergency dispatcher had to coach them over the phone through the complicated and unexpected home birth.

Great article. I had a friend that did that once. They weren't rushing to the hospital, though. The baby was coming so fast, they figured they could just catch it at home.

One question about all of this, though. Did you catch the size of that baby? It said the baby was 6 lbs. 16 oz. What is the difference between a 6 lbs. 16 oz. baby and a 7 lbs. 0 oz. baby? And which one is correct?

Who knows the answer?
