No Nap Nursery

Today we started a new adventure. Today we took Clara in to Nursery.

For those not in the know, children start going to the Nursery at our church at eighteen months old. Though that is another month away, we started taking Clara in the hopes that it would help Michael better adjust to nursery. Nursery went well enough, and I was very impressed to see how the teachers, especially our Bishop' wife, interacted with Clara. She doesn't like to sit still, which can be a challenge during the short lesson. At one point the younger children were sitting at tables playing with puzzles and two older boys and an older girl were running around. One guess as to where Clara was. I hope you didn't guess the puzzles.

Since Clara didn't get a nap during church, she was quite tired come dinner time. Check out the photo and video to see what happened.

Oh you naive parents. This is a tried and true toddler method of getting out of broccoli consumption.

That is so hilarious!! Great video! Ours have never nodded off in their chairs, but they don't have a nice cushy seat like Clara, hard plastic for them, baby! I love it, too funny! (How many more exclamation points can I use?!)

We have a video of Caleb doing that.

Congratulations on hitting the largest and most important of all church milestones; starting nursery.

1:00 church is a killer for such little ones. I have pictures and video of Shawn doing the same exact thing this very day! At least it usually makes for a good night!
