Colterisms

For those of you not in the know, Colter is the four-year-old son of our friends Bruce & Julie. Colter is not your typical four year old. He is very well spoken and tends to come up with things that you would not normally expect from one his age. See this post for some particularly memorable ones.

Last night Bruce, Julie & Colter came for a visit. It was so good to see them! We chatted for a couple of hours, catching up on everything since we last talked, which was Wednesday night. It had been too long. ;)

Upon arrival, Colter ran up to the nursery to get the Noah's Ark toy he always plays with. When he came down Colter asked if he could put a dirty diaper into the diaper champ, which he had discovered while in the nursery. Kristin said sure and took him with after Clara's next diaper.

After Colter worked the diaper champ, Kristin went to shift some laundry. Colter came out of the nursery a few minutes later and told Kristin, "I turned the fan on in the bedroom to get rid of the stink from the diaper." Kristin looked and, in fact, the ceiling fan was on. In typical form, Colter had it covered.
